For the block print collage I used the single block print but used the various color prints to make it more vibrant. I had the pink one centered and mounted on black to have the focus on the pink one because that is the breast cancer ribbons colors. The other colors were carefully arranged around it.
For our block print we carved out a sentimental image and then printed it in various colors. I chose the breast cancer ribbon and just left it as black for the single color to focus on the image no the color.
For my second mixed media book page I used more words and pictures to create a better image. It created a story with the random phrases and matching pictures.
For the mixed media book pages we did the same as the other pages but instead of painting we used pictures and magazines to create an image resembling the text. For my first mixed media I chose only a few words but it had deep meaning.
For my second book page I chose a nice phrase that resembles peace and created a peaceful painting to go along with the phrase.
For this project we got a page from a random book and got to choose words from that page and make a phrase that had nothing to do with the content of that page. For my first book page, I chose a simple phrase and the painting represented the words I chose.
For this project we first got to decide on a building or make up one. I chose the "friends" building because I love that show. It was a perfect selection because it had the right angle to make it a two point perspective piece.
